We are Shirley and Tony Cardinali from the USA. We are seasoned international travelers with over 8 million miles actually flown and 7400 hotel nights around the globe. We have set up several businesses in over 38 countries worldwide, in particular in Italy. We are lovers of International food & wine, Italian Culture & History and would love to share our unique life experiences with our guests. Tony also has the pleasure of serving as the Miami president of the Dante Aligheri Italian Culture Society.
We had a dream to create a luxurious vacation property for International Travelers. We fell in love with Villa Matilda in the lake side village of Torno on Lake Como. The locals call it “Il Castello” as it was originally a fortified castle tower. We have lovingly restored this castle, with luxurious and antique fittings, for a unique vacation on Lake Como.
